We are not alone. Mathematically, it is all but impossible. All the available evidence shows that many (if not most) stars have a planetary system similar to ours.

It is inconceivable that with billions of similar planetary systems just within our own galaxy, we are the only one with life.

What remains without scientific proof is whether travel or even communication between these similar systems is possible. Using the most advanced techniques we have available, simply sending a message to one of these systems would take years for the message to arrive and more years for any reply that we are capable of understanding.
